We had a gun ‘zombie wrangler’ for this scene, which involved several hours of makeup, colour-coordinating, planning, and running back and forth more like 28 Days Later zombies between each take. The sky was perfect for us, but about two hours after this, the rain came down – that’s what you get when you shoot a movie in Melbourne!
