The Apocalypse will be Automated


Everything about the timing and editing of this is fun, but my favourite part is how the colours change as Johnny pulls the door shut behind him. The whole first half of the film is in warmish, yellow tones, and the camera is more frenetic. The colours shift as he closes the door, sealing them in the car, then the palette stays blue, the camera still, and the editing slower, for the whole time they're inside.
